Terms & conditions

These terms apply when you use this website or book a reading with Barbra d'Engle. By booking, you agree to them.

1. Who we are

Barbra d'Engle is an astrologer, medium, psychic and tarot reader based in South Africa, offering private readings by video or phone (WhatsApp, FaceTime, Skype).

2. What a reading is — and isn’t

Readings are for spiritual guidance, insight and personal reflection. They are not a substitute for medical, psychological, legal or financial advice, and nothing said in a reading is a promise or guarantee of any outcome. Please consult a qualified professional for those matters. You stay responsible for your own decisions.

In mediumship, Barbra cannot guarantee that a particular person in spirit will come through.

3. Who can book

You must be 18 or older. You may not book on behalf of someone else without their knowledge and consent.

4. How booking works

1. You request a time. It is held for you while Barbra reviews it — this is a request, not yet a booking.
2. If Barbra approves, you have 24 hours to pay and upload proof of payment. If you don’t, the time is released.
3. Your booking is confirmed only when Barbra has checked your payment and emailed you a confirmation.

5. On the day

Barbra will call you at the confirmed time on the app you chose. Please be somewhere quiet with a charged phone. If you can’t be reached within 10 minutes of the start time, the reading counts as a no-show. If Barbra is late, you receive the full length of your reading or a reschedule.

6. Respect and recordings

Readings are private. Please don’t record a reading without Barbra’s agreement. Barbra may end a reading that becomes abusive; this is treated as a completed reading.

7. Website content

The free card of the day and the Love, Energy and Wealth meters are general reflections for entertainment and self-reflection, not a personal reading. All text, design and images on this site belong to Barbra d'Engle or are used with permission (tarot images: Rider–Waite–Smith deck, 1909, public domain).

8. Liability

To the extent the law allows, Barbra d'Engle’s liability to you is limited to the amount you paid for the reading concerned. Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008 or other laws that cannot be excluded.

9. Changes and law

We may update these terms; the version on this page when you book applies to that booking. These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.
